VZCredit is a legitimate lending app licensed by the Nigerian Federal Credit Commission (FCCPC). We offer personal loan products that comply with local and Nigerian regulations. The VZCredit app (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), operated by Verizon-Been Technology Limited (hereinafter referred to as "we"), takes user privacy protection very seriously. Location Permissions

LoanBuddy only provides loan services to Thai citizens in Thailand. This is to assist with risk assessment, clarify service areas, and provide localized services. We will use positioning technology to obtain your approximate location to confirm whether your application location is consistent with your usual place of residence to prevent fraud. We will also use your geographic location to verify whether you are located in Thailand to ensure legal and compliant services. Location information is only collected in real time when you use the relevant features. All collected personal information is stored using advanced encryption technology and uploaded to our server: https://api.vzcredits.com, and promptly deleted or anonymized.


Camera Permissions

Camera permissions are primarily used for identity verification when applying for a loan. During the identity verification process, you can take a picture of your face or ID card and compare it to the submitted identification information to ensure your authenticity. Camera calls require your authorization, and the captured data will be encrypted and stored. All collected personal information is stored using advanced encryption technology and uploaded to our server: https://api.vzcredits.com, and promptly deleted or anonymized.


App List Permissions:

We need to obtain information about apps you have actively installed on your device, but not about apps in the system. This data is primarily used to analyze your current financial habits and, in conjunction with our products, to provide you with more suitable loan products. While ensuring you can repay your loan, we will strive to improve your credit score. We will also identify high-risk apps that may compromise your security to protect the data and financial security of both parties. SMS Permission:

Before a user applies for a loan, we request their permission to access their text messages. With the user's consent, we collect financial-related text messages to assess their financial situation from multiple perspectives. Active financial behavior (such as text message records involving loans and repayments) directly reflects their true financial needs, helping us to more accurately determine the loan amount.


During data collection, we strictly adhere to Google's user privacy policy, collecting only text messages containing specific financial keywords (including: ['loan', 'cash', 'kash', 'credit', 'money', 'Balance','moni', 'borrow', 'wallet', 'overdue', 'apply', 'due on', 'approved', 'disbursed', 'settle', 'amount', 'trandsfer', 'paid', 'financial', 'bal', 'Desc', 'Txn', 'Debit', 'Acct', 'amt', 'withdraw']). We do not collect text messages containing personally identifiable information (such as ID card numbers or passport information).


Collected data will be uploaded to a designated server (https://wle.krestonfinance.online) using encryption technology to ensure secure information transmission. Once the loan amount is determined, the relevant information will be deleted within 12 hours. Users can also delete their personal information through the "Logout" function in the app or on the website.


Contact Information

When applying for a loan, you can choose to automatically fill in your emergency contact information using the numbers stored in your address book, eliminating the need for tedious manual entry. If we are unable to reach you using the contact information you provide, such as in an emergency situation like a late payment, we will attempt to communicate with you using the emergency contact information. We will confirm whether you are experiencing difficulties, such as late payments due to errors reported by payment institutions or network issues, or if you are experiencing financial difficulties. Our customer service will assist users with resolving the issue as appropriate. You can also choose to manually enter emergency contact information without affecting the loan application process. Device

Device information, including device model, operating system, IMEI, and MAC address, is collected to ensure proper app operation and optimize the user experience. For example, device model and operating system information allows us to specifically address compatibility issues across different devices. IMEI and MAC addresses are used to uniquely identify devices and prevent security risks such as multiple malicious loan applications on the same device. This information will not be combined with your sensitive personal information and is used solely for technical support and security purposes. Provide loan services: Use your personal information for core business processes such as loan application review, approval, issuance, and repayment management. Before you cancel your account, please ensure that you have settled all loan payments and there are no unprocessed business matters. After receiving your cancellation application and verifying the relevant information, we will cancel your account in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, and delete or anonymize your personal information.




How we handle information of minors


Our services are only for adults. If we find that a minor provides us with personal information and applies for a loan without the consent of his/her guardian, we will reject the loan application and delete the relevant information in a timely manner. If you are the guardian of a minor and find that a minor provides us with personal information, please contact us in a timely manner and we will assist you in handling relevant matters in a timely manner.




How to update this policy




We may update this privacy policy based on business development, changes in laws and regulations or other needs.
